I hope you are enjoying the early days of 2024 and that you were able to find some time for rest and reflection amid holiday festivities.
As I personally took time to reflect, I kept coming back to the rollercoaster ride of the last year. It has been one of the hardest years for me professionally, and it has also been one of the most rewarding. I am so excited about what we have built for you, and I’m grateful for your unwavering support.
I have a few exciting announcements to share with you as we begin the New Year!
Just before Christmas, theSavoire Financialwebsite launched. This has been a long time coming, and I invite you to explore the content we have created. Specifically, the“Client Portal”has resources you use regularly, so I encourage you to bookmark it for future reference.
As you know from our earliest conversations about Savoire, building a team has been part of my vision. Many of you have already interacted with Olivia and Chloe, but I’d like to formally introduce them and their roles.
Olivia Allenhas been with Savoire since February 2023. As our Client Service Specialist, she is here to help you with paperwork, money movement and general requests. She also helps me keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Olivia has worked in the financial services industry for five years and has found her favorite role is helping advisors help clients. I am delighted to have her expertise on the team. She will be welcoming a new addition to her family this spring. We will miss her while she is out on leave, but I am absolutely overjoyed to share this news.
Chloe Van Zandtjoined the team in August and is currently fulfilling the coursework requirement to take the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam this March. I am thrilled to announce that she will be joining us full-time as a Financial Planning Specialist after her exam. Financial Planning runs in Chloe’s family as her dad is a CPA and advisor. She will be helping me prepare for your meetings, helping you with your annual updates, and assisting with the financial planning process. Please welcome her to the team!
Lastly, I am excited to announce the introduction of annual themes. Each year I will announce a topic of focus for the coming year. We will approach it broadly with general education and events, and deeply in our one on one meetings.
Savoire Financial's education-related theme for
2024 is Estate Planning. The choice to start with this topic is personal. Over the last three years I have assisted more family members, clients and friends with estate settlements than I have in my entire career.
The experience is markedly different when a well thought out and comprehensive plan is prepared long before it is ever needed. I have experienced firsthand the added time, stress and heartbreak that occurs when these documents are outdated, non-existent or don’t say what was intended. My job is to help you prepare for the unexpected. My goal is for you have a clear understanding of what you have in place and a solid plan for any needed updates and additions that might be necessary.
As we embark on another year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead and are eager to continue supporting you. I cherish the trust you've placed in me and look forward to working together for years to come. Thank you for being an integral part of my journey and for being such an incredible client.
